The Strength Bench is located in The Morton Arboretum’s Oak Collection. The physical properties of oak wood and the symbolic meaning of oak trees throughout history signify its strength. This bench provides educators and docents a talking point about oaks— as well as, the strolling visitor an opportunity to rest and reflect about the meaning of strength in their life.
This 10’ long bench is composed of hollow-core Cor-ten dimensional letters and a wood plank top, all bolted with stainless hardware.
